40650 SERVICE DATE – MARCH 4, 2010 DO SURFACE TRANSPORTATION BOARD DECISION STB Docket No. AB-1036 THE CITY OF − ADVERSE ABANDONMENT − Decided: March 3, 2010 By motion filed on February 26, 2010, the City of Chicago, IL (the City) requests that this proceeding be held in abeyance in order to facilitate settlement discussions that are currently underway between the City and protestant Chicago Terminal Railroad (CTR). Specifically, the City requests a 30-day extension of all applicable procedural dates in this proceeding. The City represents that CTR concurs in its request for abeyance. The City’s request for abeyance will be granted because it is unopposed and accords with the Board’s policy of facilitating the private resolutions of disputes. It is ordered: 1. All applicable procedural dates in this proceeding are extended by 30 days. 2. This decision is effective on its service date. By the Board, Rachel D. Campbell, Director, Office of Proceedings. | |||
