41739 SERVICE DATE – LATE RELEASE JUNE 30, 2011 DO SURFACE TRANSPORTATION BOARD DECISION Docket No. EP 705 COMPETITION IN THE RAILROAD INDUSTRY Decided: June 30, 2011 On Wednesday, June 22, 2011, and Thursday, June 23, 2011, the Board held a hearing in this proceeding. At the hearing, Chairman Elliott indicated that the Board would leave the record open for 30 days to allow parties to supplement their testimony to respond to questions raised at the hearing. Accordingly, the record in this proceeding will remain open until July 25, 2011.[1] This action will not significantly affect either the quality of the human environment or the conservation of energy resources.
